One is that <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink-article\" data-id=\"2049171\"><a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/airbus-a380-production-end-factors\/\" >the A380 came too late when ultra-large quadjets were being superseded by more efficient twin-jets<\/a><\/span>. But another reason is that the 747 is much more versatile in its applications.
