TransPennine Express (TPE) is helping customers start their journeys with greater confidence by introducing new Passenger Assistance meeting points at stations across its network.<\/p>\n

The new meeting points provided by the train operator are clear, easy-to-find spaces where customers can meet a member of staff ready to help.<\/p>\n

They form part of the operator\u2019s Passenger Assistance service, which provides additional support for customers who may need help when travelling\u2014such as assistance at stations, boarding trains, or making connections.<\/p>\n

This support can be booked in advance or requested on the day, either online, via the Passenger Assist Transreport app, or by phone.<\/p>\n

While each meeting point may vary slightly by location, all Passenger Assistance Meeting Points are designed to be easy to identify and include clear signage and seating.<\/p>\n

The Passenger Assistance meeting points are now available at Brough, Cleethorpes, Dewsbury, Grimsby, Hull, Malton, Middlesbrough, Scarborough, Scunthorpe, Selby, Stalybridge and Thornaby.<\/p>\n

Installation at Hull, Middlesbrough, Scarborough, Huddersfield, and Manchester Airport will follow soon.<\/p>\n

Emma Teale, Head of Inclusive Customer Experience & Partnerships for TPE said: \u201cPassenger Assistance meeting points are about giving customers confidence from the moment they arrive at the station.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know how important it is to feel assured that help will be there when it\u2019s needed, and these clearly defined spaces make that much simpler.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a practical change, but one that can have a meaningful impact on how people experience their journey.\u201d<\/p>\n

The meeting points form part of TPE\u2019s wider Passenger Assist Improvement Programme, focused on making accessible travel more visible, inclusive and consistent from start to finish.<\/p>\n
