It marks the first instance of a rail link between the Aegean region to China, according to the Turkish company.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-70689\"><\/span>The train, which carries 50 containers, has Shanghai as its final destination. \u201cThis route is more than just a shipment; it represents the foundation of a sustainable logistics corridor that will carry T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s manufacturing strength to the heart of global trade\u201d, writes Pasifik Eurasia on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur strong export capacity \u2014 especially in the home appliances sector \u2014 can now reach China faster, more securely, and with greater efficiency.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-container\" style=\"box-sizing:border-box;height:0;overflow:hidden;padding-bottom:56.25%;position:relative;width:100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"embed-content\" style=\"bottom:0;height:100%;left:0;position:absolute;right:0;top:0;width:100%;\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:ugcPost:7450849745939423232?compact=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen scrolling=\"no\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; fullscreen; gyroscope\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Not the usual east-west direction<\/h2>\n<p>The train will make its way to the Far East via the Middle Corridor, which traverses the Caspian Sea and Central Asia before reaching the Chinese border. The vast majority of goods transported on this corridor originate from China. The goods are usually destined for Central Asian or European countries.<\/p>\n<p>Around 90% of freight on China-Europe rail corridors (not just on the Middle Corridor) is westbound. Only 10% is exported to China. In this particular instance, it is a case of the latter: Turkish products are exported to China. \u201cA new chapter in T\u00fcrkiye\u2013China trade relations\u201d, Pasifik Eurasia calls it.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 2px solid #0a4e7f; padding: 15px 20px 20px 20px; border-radius: 10px; background-color: #e7f1f8; margin: 20px 0;\">In the summer of 2025, Pasifik Eurasia signed an <strong>agreement with China Railway<\/strong> to organise block train operations on the Middle Corridor.
