The month-long trip is supposed to be the first of at least two outings this year that will take the world\u2019s largest operating steam locomotive to multiple parts of the UP system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During the tour, the Union Pacific Museum will host a special passenger excursion behind the locomotive on July 14, from Roseville, Calif. to Sparks, Nev., on the former Southern Pacific route over Donner Pass. More information and ticket information will be posted at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uptraintix.org\/\"><span>www.UPtraintix.org<\/span><\/a><span> in the coming weeks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The locomotive is expected to run again in the fall, venturing to Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, and Illinois, among other states.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>June 30: Cheyenne, Wyo. to Rawlins, Wyo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 1: Rawlins, Wyo. to Rock Springs, Wyo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 3: Rock Springs, Wyo. to Evanston, Wyo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 4: Evanston, Wyo. to Salt Lake City, Utah<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 6: Salt Lake City, Utah to Elko, Nev.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 8: Elko, Nev. to Winnemucca, Nev.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 9: Winnemuca, Nev. to Portola, Calif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 11: Portola, Calif. to Roseville, Calif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>July 12 and 13: Roseville, Calif.
