TransPennine Express (TPE) customers will soon spot bold new signage on the outside of their trains – part of a fresh move to make boarding clearer and faster.  <\/p>\n

Several of the operator\u2019s 802 trains have already been upgraded and the roll out will include all fleets. <\/p>\n

The new look brings sharper, brighter markers for First Class, bike storage and wheelchair\u2011accessible doors, designed to be instantly recognisable from the platform.  <\/p>\n

The rollout is all about making journeys feel easier from the moment customers reach the platform. <\/p>\n

Andrew McClements, Customer Experience & Transformation Director, said: \u201cEarly reactions suggest the change is already making a difference, with customers finding it easier to work out where to board at a glance. It\u2019s a small upgrade with a big impact, especially at busy stations where seconds count. <\/p>\n

\u201cClear signage makes everything quicker. When people know where to go, boarding is smoother and trains can get away on time. It\u2019s a straightforward fix that really helps.\u201d  <\/p>\n
