Xavier Sarrat has been appointed Chief Procurement Officer for\u00a0<\/span>Pandrol<\/a>, replacing Olivier\u00a0<\/span>Jullien\u00a0<\/span>who has taken\u00a0<\/span>on a new strategic role.<\/span><\/p>\n

A\u00a0<\/span>master of\u00a0<\/span>both\u00a0<\/span>the French National Business School for Higher Education in Management (HEC) and National School for Higher Education in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering\u00a0<\/span>(ENSAM),\u00a0<\/span>Xavier will report directly\u00a0<\/span>to CEO of\u00a0<\/span>Pandrol<\/a>, Nicolas\u00a0<\/span>Groult.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously\u00a0<\/span>Associate VP, Global Procurement in Singapore for Agilent Technology<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Xavier\u00a0<\/span>will be based in Colombes, taking up this new role and replacing\u00a0<\/span>Olivier from January 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Groult said: \u201cOlivier has accepted to take a specific assignment to support one of the \u2018Success Drivers\u2019 of our strategy\u00a0<\/span>\u2018Pandrol<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>on-track 2028\u2019 to\u00a0<\/span>Improve footprint performance and will continue to report to me.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter seven years as Chief Procurement Officer, Olivier will bring significant experience and knowledge to further enhance\u00a0<\/span>Pandrol\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>industrial footprint and supply chain.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cXavier will also bring us his experience as former Brakes & Safety Group Sourcing Director and\u00a0<\/span>from his role as\u00a0<\/span>China Division Purchasing Director for Wabtec<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pandrol<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>defines the industry standard for rail fastening systems and aluminothermic welding having created rail infrastructure in more than 100 countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Its capabilities extend to manufacturing castings and plastics, track electrification, and creating equipment for track construction, fastening installation, and welding.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
