Greater Anglia has released the latest episode of its Life on Rails<\/em><\/a> podcast, with Dan from \u201cThe Right Track<\/a>\u201d joining the show to discuss how social media is changing the way people experience and engage with the railway.<\/p>\n

The third episode of series three is presented by Dom Rosso and Lucy Wright from Greater Anglia\u2019s Corporate Affairs team and continues to showcase the people, innovation and community work that underpin the operator\u2019s commitment to delivering better journeys for passengers.<\/p>\n

Dan, who runs the \u201cThe Right Track<\/a>\u201d<\/em> YouTube and TikTok channels, shares how his passion for railways developed and how documenting journeys online can inspire people, particularly younger audiences, to explore the network and rediscover rail travel. He also reflects on some of his favourite locations on the Greater Anglia network, from the busy hub of Cambridge to the uniquely remote Shippea Hill station.<\/p>\n

The episode also features Greater Anglia colleagues, including a return of the Careers Clinic<\/em> with Early Careers and Apprenticeships Manager Viktorija Starling, who offers practical advice on succeeding at interview, and Head of Data and Innovation Leon Kong, who explains how data is being used to improve customer experience and operational decision-making across the business.<\/p>\n

As part of the regular News in Spotlight<\/em> segment, the episode highlights recent Greater Anglia initiatives, including partnership work with Samaritans to mark Brew Monday<\/a>, foodbank collections that provided more than 1,900 meals for people in crisis<\/a>, and the opening of new Changing Places toilets at Audley End<\/a> and Great Yarmouth<\/a> stations.<\/p>\n
