An Amtrak work crew, that includes an undercutter and the TLM (Track Laying Machine),\u00a0 is presently working to replace rail, ties and renew ballast between\u00a0Harrisburg and Middletown, PA.\u00a0 Photographers should be on the lookout not only for the TLM (not commonly used on the Harrisburg Line), but also the\u00a0work train locomotives.\u00a0 Amtrak is taking delivery of rebuilt (by Progress Rail) GP38-3 units in the 725-754 series \u2013 units numbered 740 and above wear the\u00a0new Phase VII scheme, which is a first for work train power.<\/p>\n
