The first departures are scheduled in just a few days, with five weekly rotations scheduled from March, Helrom\u2019s sales manager Eugen Sucea said.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-69063\"><\/span>The new service was announced in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/business\/2025\/11\/28\/new-intermodal-romania-germany-service-to-be-launched-by-helrom\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">November<\/a>, and it is Helrom\u2019s first in Romania. The first departures from D\u00fcsseldorf are planned for 10-11 February, while from Arad on 13-14 February. Image: \u00a9 AFLUENT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Out of insolvency<\/h2>\n<p>The past few months were challenging for Helrom, which filed for insolvency last summer after an unsuccessful financing round. The company was looking for new investments, which were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/business\/2026\/01\/20\/helrom-concludes-insolvency-and-establishes-new-hrg-subsidiary\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">secured by Helrom\u2019s owner HRG<\/a>, which expanded the pool of investors and provided Helrom with additional capital. Despite the restructuring, Helrom is managing to launch new services.
