Some of its guardsmen are involved in space-related work that the Department of the Air Force has decided would be better integrated with the Space Force. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airandspaceforces.com\/air-national-guardsmen-no-switch-space-force\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" >Air and Space Forces Magazine<\/a>, a proposal to transfer Air National Guardsmen to the Space Force has been criticized. The Department of the <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/air-force\/\">Air Force<\/a> is pushing Congress to adopt the plan.
