At least 27 foreign criminals, including a child killer, four paedophiles, and three rapists, have been spared deportation since Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke cancelled nationalist activist Matthew Gruter’s visa for his political opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these 27 cases could be a standalone story, only one has been reported on by the corporate media (Fijian “stealthing” rapist given refugee visa).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aspiring nurse, referred to only as MPGJ in court documents, was rejected for a protection visa by the Immigration Minister in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minister had previously accepted the 32-year-old\u2019s claims that he faced \u201crisk of harm\u201d if he were removed to Fiji \u2014 despite him having returned to his home country on three occasions since first coming to Australia in 2022 \u2014 but denied the visa on character grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MPGJ appealed to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), which last week overturned the Minister\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI consider there is a minimal or remote risk that the Applicant will engage in further criminal conduct should he be allowed to remain in Australia,\u201d ART general member Shane Evans said.<\/p>\n\n\n

Indian IT worker named\u00a0David Rayan<\/strong>\u00a0(also reported as David Suresh Rayan) who sexually assaulted 17 women at a Melbourne nightclub in 2023 was recently spared deportation from Australia by a tribunal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rayan pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting 17 women across multiple incidents in September and October 2023 at the Revolver nightclub in Melbourne. The attacks were described as “deliberate” by the judge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2025, Rayan avoided jail time and was instead ordered to undergo treatment for alcohol abuse and participate in programs to reduce the risk of reoffending. The judge acknowledged the significant impact on the victims, who described ongoing anxiety and a shattered sense of security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2025, an administrative tribunal ruled against his deportation, determining that it would not be fair to his three-year-old daughter, who is an Australian citizen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rayan has lost his IT job, is prohibited from meeting his daughter<\/strong>, and is currently working as a driver in Australia, remaining in the country despite his crimes.
