Canterbury is the first region to use Motu Move and the system is being rolled out in stages.<\/p>\n<p>More than\u00a020,000 bus and ferry users\u00a0have used the new system, with over 27% of adults who pay a non-concession adult fare choosing to use contactless payments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe number of adult cash fares have also dropped by more than 40%.
