Over 70,000 people joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=325158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Melbourne Metro Tunnel Opens Sunday After Decade-Long Build\">the open day on Sunday November 30th<\/a> making the new metro tunnel system a winner in the eyes of many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tunnel will greatly assist the movement of passengers through what is now Australia&#8217;s largest city.  For Jess Wilson to snub this important event shows one thing has not changed when it comes to the Liberal Party of Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Liberal Party of Victoria despise investment in much needed Public Transport Infrastructure.  You only need to think back to the 1990&#8217;s when the then Liberal premier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?tag=jeff-kennett\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Jeff Kennett\">Jeff Kennett<\/a> refused to access a full funding package from the Federal Government for a train line to their airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their investment in the CityLink project via a holding in Transurban said it all.
