{"id":32131,"date":"2024-04-30T08:07:55","date_gmt":"2024-04-29T22:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/?p=116081"},"modified":"2024-04-30T08:07:55","modified_gmt":"2024-04-29T22:07:55","slug":"government-names-interim-commissioners-to-lead-infrastructure-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=32131","title":{"rendered":"Government names interim Commissioners to lead Infrastructure Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Infrastructure-Australia.jpeg\" alt=\"\" style=\"float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;\"><figcaption>Image: p a w e l\/stock.adobe.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\"><strong>The Federal Government has appointed interim Commissioners to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infrastructureaustralia.gov.au\/\">Infrastructure Australia<\/a> (IA) following the amendments to the <em>Infrastructure Australia Act 2008,<\/em>\u00a0which passed the Parliament in December 2023, coming into force earlier this month.\u00a0<\/strong><span id=\"more-116081\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">These appointments are part of the Federal Government\u2019s broader reforms to restore IA as the Commonwealth\u2019s pre-eminent adviser on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/major-projects-infrastructure\/\">infrastructure<\/a> planning and investment.
