According to a report by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-13358011\/RAF-fighter-jets-near-miss-drone.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" >Daily Mail<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/f-35\/\">F-35B<\/a> came within 300 feet of the <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/drones\/\">drone<\/a> as the fighter jet zoomed by at 290 mph. F-35Bs are the most advanced aircraft in service in the RAF.
