{"id":318969,"date":"2025-11-18T20:54:46","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T10:54:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/?p=67434"},"modified":"2025-11-18T20:54:46","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T10:54:46","slug":"china-railway-subsidiary-officially-joins-middle-corridor-multimodal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=318969","title":{"rendered":"China Railway subsidiary officially joins Middle Corridor Multimodal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Middle Corridor Multimodal (MCM), the joint venture between the railway companies of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, now has a new participant: China Railway Container Transport (CRCT), a subsidiary of China Railway.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-67434\"><\/span>MCM and the shareholders signed an agreement on the accession of CRCT on 18 November. \u201cThis marks a historic milestone for our project: the inclusion of a new strategic partner will significantly increase cargo volumes on the China\u2013Europe route within the framework of the TITR initiative and the \u2018One Belt, One Road\u2019 program\u201d, the CEO of MCM wrote on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n<p>The joint venture provides services on a one-stop-shop principle, and aims to pursue a coordinated policy to develop multimodal services on the trans-Eurasian route.
