{"id":314943,"date":"2025-11-11T20:06:36","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T10:06:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/?p=67275"},"modified":"2025-11-11T20:06:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T10:06:36","slug":"rcg-launches-romania-hungary-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=314943","title":{"rendered":"RCG launches Romania-Hungary service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Austrian rail freight operator Rail Cargo Group is implementing a new \u201cnonstop connection\u201d between Curtici, in Romania, and the Hungarian capital Budapest. \u201cThis new connection creates additional attractive opportunities for intermodal transport in the region and beyond\u201d, RCG said<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-67275\"><\/span>Initially, the service will run once a week serving the BILK terminal in Budapest, but RCG said it is ready to double frequency depending on demand. The Budapest-Curtici line is bound to become the company\u2019s gateway line to T\u00fcrkiye and consequently benefit the Eurasian supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>The Austrian operator already runs trains between Budapest and Istanbul, with further links to Austria, Germany and Belgium.
