Fargo has strengthened its intermodal technology portfolio with the acquisition of Bankside Systems, the creators of Intermodal Manager (IM), adding a TOS to its TMS product line.\u00a0<\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

IM is a cloud-based, web-native Terminal Operating System (TOS) designed for inland terminals, depots, and intermodal hubs to manage container, equipment, and yard operations more efficiently. Users include SJG Haulage & Commercial Workshop in Southampton and UK terminal operator Solent Stevedores.<\/p>\n

Fargo (previously Fargo Systems), is a leading provider of transport management system (TMS) software in the UK for transport industry operators, including shipping lines, rail operators, hauliers and freight forwarders. Its flagship product is the TOPS TMS.<\/p>\n

Rebrand reflects digital logistics transformation<\/h2>\n

The rebrand, unveiled earlier this year, positions Fargo as a technology-driven partner for what they describe as the rapidly changing freight landscape. Focus on integrated systems and UK logistics hubs<\/h2>\n

Under its new structure, Fargo\u2019s software suite will be unified under its branding. Intermodal Manager will be rebranded as Fargo IMTM (Intermodal Terminal Management). It will sit alongside <\/span>Fargo TOPS for intermodal transport management (covered at its development by WorldCargo News<\/a>) and Fargo YARD for container yard operations<\/a>. The company said this streamlined structure simplifies customer deployment and supports integration across fleets, depots and port terminals.<\/p>\n
