Brand-new trains are still planned to be introduced to the line next year (2026).<\/p>\n<p>Ken Skates, Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales said: \u201cTransport for Wales has listened to the concerns of local people and taken action to continue running important rail services where needed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve invested \u00a3800 million into brand-new trains across Wales and the Borders, with further improvements coming to mid-Wales during 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re proud to be delivering real change for the people of Wales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Colin Lea, Planning and Performance Director at Transport for Wales added: \u201cWorking closely with local communities along the Cambrian Line, we\u2019re pleased to reinstate these evening services to support the region. We really encourage everyone to use these services so that we can continue to support them in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a clear example of how listening to the people we serve leads to better outcomes for everyone.
