Medlog, the logistics arm of shipping giant MSC, has launched a new rail freight service between the new facility and the ports of Poti and Batumi, both on the Black Sea.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-66796\"><\/span>The new initiative will serve the container market. Rail transport of containers along the Middle Corridor has been on the rise over the past couple of years, and interest remains high. With the introduction of dedicated freight trains, containers can now reach\u202fTbilisi in approximately 13 hours\u201d, the company underlined.<\/p>\n<h2>The Middle Corridor at European Silk Road Summit<\/h2>\n<p>The Georgian section is a key piece of the Middle Corridor, which will be one of the spotlight at the European Silk Road Summit, which will be held in Milan on 19 and 20 November 2025.
