Carlton supporters appear to be growing more angry account the disrespect Charlie Curnow has shown Carlton and their supporters. The above photo was allegedly painted on the walls of Carlton’s Home Ground Princes Park<\/a> this week, and perhaps externalising the anger of some supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More interestingly has Curnow poisoned his position at Carlton forcing a trade. How? By being very non commital to the club and not honouring his commitment to his agreement with the club. When the club needed him to standup during the year, many say he did not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The alarming trend in the AFL at least in this trade period, is the idea players who signed longer term contracts for personal security can at any time think they can break an agreement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curnow’s commitment this year in the eyes of many was lacklustre. Many would say he has probably had 3 good seasons at Carlton and remember he is on the other side of 30. When he missed the 2021 season it was Harry McKay who stepped up and played well for the blues kicking enough goals to win the Coleman Medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps it is time Charlie Curnow disappears from Carlton, stay or leave his credibility has been shaken in the eyes of the supporters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
