From 2026 onwards passengers will be able to book individual compartments that seat one person.<\/p>\n<p>The compartments will provide even higher-quality facilities and a more comfortable environment for business travellers than the Green or first class cars that are already a feature of Shinkansen trains. Two private compartments will be added to each series N700S train.<\/p>\n<p>The compartments will feature reclining seats with leg rests, Wi-Fi, and individual controls for lighting, air-conditioning and multimedia.
