After Mostyska and Vinnytsia, rail operator Lemtrans has added a third terminal to its portfolio: the Fastiv container terminal near capital city Kyiv.<\/strong>
\n<\/span>The container terminal has been built with an investment equalling seven million dollars. Completed in under a year amidst the ongoing war, this new terminal marks Lemtrans’ third such facility. Previous terminals were launched in Mostyska on the Polish border (2022) and Vinnytsia in western Ukraine (2024).<\/p>\n

The terminal spans over 13 hectares and currently has an annual capacity of 19,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units), with future plans to expand to 55,000 TEU. It features two new railway tracks and has a container yard that can store up to 1,350 containers.<\/p>\n

With construction completed, the Fastiv terminal is \u201cready to handle cargo flows efficiently, connect businesses to global supply chains, and launch regular trains to Odesa and European ports such as Gda\u0144sk, Hamburg, Trieste, and more\u201d, wrote Volodymyr Demenko, CEO of Levada Cargo on LinkedIn. Lemtrans has a majority stake in Levada Cargo.<\/p>\n
