One Big Circle, provider of intelligent video and data solutions for rail, has introduced AIVR UGMS, an advanced Unattended Geometry Measurement System into its product suite, bringing further authority to the growing company\u2019s automated track and infrastructure monitoring capability.<\/p>\n

Securing targeted licensing rights with market-leading US-based firm Vista Instrumentation, the agreement enhances One Big Circle\u2019s mission to deliver high-quality, authoritative technologies that support the safety, efficiency, and digital transformation of rail networks. The company already deploys Vista units on measurement trains in the UK and is expanding this to include in-service provision, as well as providing this expertise in other strategic territories in Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n

The system\u2019s precisely engineered lasers measure the rail profile, providing accurate data that can be scoured for anomalies that suggest misalignments, including gauge widening, twist and cant irregularities. This will be integrated with the AIVR vision capabilities to provide a more holistic view of the infrastructure. The combined capability will be delivered from Bristol and OBC\u2019s newly established offices in Derby.<\/p>\n

The agreement aligns with the growing demand for integrated data solutions in the rail sector, where innovation and digitisation are transforming how infrastructure is monitored and maintained.<\/p>\n
