RATP Dev, RATP Group\u2019 subsidiary, will assist SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s in achieving its goal of making the Greater Lyon&#8217;s public transport exemplary, sustainable, and inclusive.<\/p>\n<p>Following the vote of the SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s Board on March 28th, the transport authority confirmed the awarding to RATP Dev of the contract to operate TCL\u2019s \u2018heavy modes\u2019. This contract includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Four metro lines, of which two are automated, 102 metro trains and 44 stations along 70 km of tracks, carrying 50 per cent of the network\u2019s daily ridership;<\/li>\n<li>Seven tramway lines, 107 tramways, and 128 stations along 71 km of tracks;<\/li>\n<li>Two funicular railway lines;<\/li>\n<li>The Rho\u0302nexpress airport link, comprising 6 trains and 4 stations over 13 km of tracks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>From January 2025 and for a contractual term of 10 years, RATP Dev will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the rolling stock, as well as maintaining the infrastructure and the security of the TCL network.<\/p>\n<p>From June 2025, RATP Dev will also manage\u2014hand in hand with Yachts de Lyon\u2014the operation and maintenance of the upcoming river shuttle service. This sustainable mode of transport is expected to ferry 560,000 passengers annually.<\/p>\n<p>Working with SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s and in close collaboration with the operator of the buses and trolleybuses, RATP Dev will draw on RATP group\u2019s expertise to ensure a seamless transition and a continued high-quality service offer every day.<\/p>\n<p>Hiba Fare\u0300s, RATP Dev\u2019s CEO said RATP Dev\u00a0are honoured to earn the trust of SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will support our client in the implementation of an ambitious transport policy, one that serves development needs while taking social and environmental considerations into account,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alongside the employees of the TCL network, we will provide recognised expertise in metro and tramway systems, with the goal of making SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s&#8217; vision for the Lyon metropolitan area and territories and its residents a reality.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My congratulations to all the teams from RATP Dev whose commitment has convinced SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s. It is that same commitment that we are harnessing today to serve the people of this city and its surrounding territories.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Together with the TCL teams, RATP Dev will support the major transformations planned by SYTRAL Mobilite\u0301s over the coming years, in particular the automation of Line A, modernisation of Lines C and D, the launch of tramway lines T9 and T10, as well as the extension of Line T6.<\/p>\n<p>To accelerate the network\u2019s decarbonisation, RATP Dev will help provide a clean electricity supply for the network, with priority given to local production.
