{"id":27232,"date":"2024-04-12T15:37:48","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T05:37:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=27232"},"modified":"2024-04-12T15:37:48","modified_gmt":"2024-04-12T05:37:48","slug":"network-rail-appoints-new-capital-delivery-director-for-wales-and-western-region-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=27232","title":{"rendered":"Network Rail appoints new Capital Delivery Director for Wales and Western region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.networkrail.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Network Rail\u2019s<\/a> Wales and Western region has announced Tim Walden as its new Capital Delivery Director.<\/p>\n<p>Tim joins from the company\u2019s Southern region, where he has held the role of Capital Delivery Director since June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>A driving force behind the completion of CP6, Tim has supported the creation of the Southern Renewals Enterprise, taking the region into CP7.<\/p>\n<p>His leadership saw the successful delivery of major resignalling schemes at Victoria and Feltham and completion of the impressive Gatwick Airport Station works. In addition, he led the delivery of the Access for All portfolio which was the biggest of any region in CP6.<\/p>\n<p>He replaces Stuart Calvert, who has moved to the role of Capital Delivery Director for Network Rail\u2019s Eastern region. Kayleigh Spires is currently interim capital delivery director for Wales and Western.<\/p>\n<p>Regional Managing Director Rob Cairns said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to welcome Tim to Wales and Western.
