But by 2020, both Airbus and Boeing had announced the end of the world&#8217;s only two extra-large aircraft, the <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\" data-id=\"70735\"style=\";  ;\" class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\"><span>Airbus A380<\/span><\/span> and the <span class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\" data-id=\"739375\"style=\";  ;\" class=\"display-card-hyperlink display-card-hyperlink-no-vignette\"><a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/747-8\/\"  >Boeing 747-8<\/a><\/span>.
