It intends to continue working as normal for the time being. The company&#8217;s problems reflect broader economic setbacks.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-65157\"><\/span>The insolvency will not have an immediate impact on business operations at Vollert, the company explains. It will continue working for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p>Vollert develops stationary shunting systems, shunting robots, road-rail robots and heavy-duty transfer wagons and travelling platforms. However, rail is a minor business segment for the 100-year old family-owned company.<\/p>\n<p>Besides rail, it works in the intralogistics processes and precast cement sectors. It is especially the latter sector that has seen a significant downturn in recent times. American tariffs, a struggling Chinese economy and problems in Brazil have contributed to that. When it comes to rail, the company is \u201csatisfied\u201d, with some good contracts currently running.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI informed the workforce about the situation immediately after filing for insolvency.
