{"id":26638,"date":"2024-04-10T20:36:29","date_gmt":"2024-04-10T10:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=26638"},"modified":"2024-04-10T20:36:29","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T10:36:29","slug":"procurement-starts-for-metrolinxs-station-infrastructure-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=26638","title":{"rendered":"Procurement starts for Metrolinx\u2019s station infrastructure project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"first:pt-0 last:pb-0 py-28 lg:py-32\">\n<div class=\"w-full\">\n<p class=\" cx-body-text mb-24 last:mb-0 \">Procurement has started for the final major contract for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension.<\/p>\n<p class=\" cx-body-text mb-24 last:mb-0 \">The Ontario government recently announced the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was issued for the stations, rail, and systems contract for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension \u2013 a project that will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT 9.2 kilometres farther west, creating a rapid transit line that will run from Scarborough all the way into Mississauga.<\/p>\n<p class=\" cx-body-text mb-24 last:mb-0 \">To secure an opportunity to be included in the bidding process, interested companies can respond to the RFQ by submitting their qualifications and expertise in design and construction.
