The group calls it \u201cone of the most important logistics investments in recent years in Central and Eastern Europe\u201d, at the crossroads of western and eastern rail freight.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-65021\"><\/span>CLIP Group signed a contract for the terminal with construction company TorKol. The project is valued at around 30 million euros, of which nearly 41% is funded by the European Union. It chips in with around 11,7 million euros. The new terminal is scheduled for completion in June 2026.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 2px solid #0a4e7f; padding: 15px 20px 20px 20px; border-radius: 10px; background-color: #e7f1f8; margin: 20px 0;\">\n<p><strong>This is what the works will entail in concrete terms, as per CLIP Group:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 10px; padding-left: 20px; list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>The construction of a new track system<\/li>\n<li>Modernising arrival and departure tracks<\/li>\n<li>Building yards and roads with \u201cfull technical infrastructure\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Installing modern transshipment equipment and state-of-the-art IT systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All in all, the works will enable both rail-to-road and rail-to-rail transshipment, including between the 1,520-millimetre and 1,435-millimetre gauges.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>The intersection between east and west<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;This is an investment of strategic importance both for CLIP Group and for the whole of Poland.
