Stakeholders have agreed to China Railway Container Transport entering the joint venture during a meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-64940\"><\/span>With the way clear for China Railway Container Transport to participate in the joint venture, the expectation is that Middle Corridor Multimodal will have more clout to boost container traffic along the China-Europe route. In September 2024, an announcement was already made that the Chinese subsidiary would take part in the company.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 2px solid #0a4e7f; padding: 15px 20px 20px 20px; border-radius: 10px; background-color: #e7f1f8; margin: 20px 0;\"><strong>The idea of the Middle Corridor Multimodal joint venture surfaced in April 2022 and was officially launched in October 2023.<\/strong> Its aim is to provide \u201cservices on a one-stop-shop principle, guarantee delivery times, and pursue a coordinated policy for developing multimodal service in the direction of China-Europe and Turkey-China\u201d.<\/div>\n<h2>Train monitoring<\/h2>\n<p>Other points on the meeting agenda in Baku concerned bottlenecks, digitalisation of logistics and container train monitoring.
