Doncaster Pride 2025 is just a few days away and for the very first time, Doncaster-based rail freight operator DB Cargo UK has sponsored the event. <\/p>\n

The sponsorship is part of a range of activities coordinated by the company\u2019s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Council, which was established in 2024. <\/p>\n

HR Director Laura Clarke said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAt DB Cargo we are deeply committed to championing our culture of \u2018EDI is BAU\u2019 where Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is Business as Usual. Through this, we cultivate a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic self.”  <\/p>\n

During Pride month, the EDI Council gained approval for a special Pride liveried loco, which is almost complete. And in celebration of the company\u2019s Diversity Week in November, the Pride loco (66068) will be officially named and its nameplate revealed. <\/p>\n

Simon Lock, Chair of DB Cargo UK\u2019s EDI Council, added:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We believe in creating a truly inclusive society and our partnership with Doncaster Pride is a powerful step in that direction. DB colleagues will represent the company in the Pride Parade of Unity through Doncaster City Centre to Town Fields on Saturday, August 9th. <\/p>\n

They\u2019ll also join in the celebrations as they welcome people to their stall as everyone enjoys the live acts and entertainment, a fun Pride dog show, and much more! <\/p>\n
