A recent change in train services on the Warrnambool line in Victoria, Australia, has disrupted a school excursion, forcing Brauer College’s year nine students to be split across two separate trains due to the reduced capacity of new VLocity trains, resulting in missed pre-booked activities and increased costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The issue stems from the introduction of smaller-capacity VLocity three-car sets, which have about 222 seats compared to the 350 seats on the older rolling stock, despite the addition of extra services to the timetable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
