A man has been stabbed in a terrifying attack at a busy shopping centre in Melbourne\u2019s northwest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emergency crews were called to Homer Street near Moonee Ponds Central in the city’s northwest about 4.35pm on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police arrived to find a man with neck and chest injuries and another being pinned to the ground by members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In videos obtained by 7NEWS, the man can be heard repeatedly yelling \u201cAllah Akbar\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two men had reportedly been arguing before one drew out a knife and stabbed the other in the neck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Five passersby quickly performed a citizens arrest on the alleged offender who then began screaming ‘allahu akbar’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
