The railway companies of Azerbaijan and China agreed on increasing the number of block trains along this line to 10 per day.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-63983\"><\/span>The line, known as BTK, is a key artery of the Middle Corridor, as it connects the Caspian Sea to T\u00fcrkiye and thus the rest of Europe. The line was renovated a little over a year ago, providing for a lot more capacity, from one to five million tonnes per year according to official estimates.<\/p>\n<p>The number of block trains has been increasing since the re-opening of the modernised line, and interest seems ot be on the rise.For example, Azerbaijan and China are in talks to launch a service from Lianyungang, on the East China Sea, to Baku.
