This airframe &#8211; a Boeing 747-8F delivered to Atlas Air &#8211; was the conclusion of over half a century of continuous production, beginning with the &#8220;City of Everett&#8221; (registration: N7470) in 1968. Since then, the 747 program has gone through several model updates, with the final series &#8211; the 747-8 &#8211; making its debut in 2011.
