Teams were challenged to include sensor data from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EaasWOU8fgg\" rel=\"noopener\">STEMnauts<\/a>, non-living objects representing astronauts. The STEMnaut \u201ccrew\u201d had to relay real-time data to the student team\u2019s mission control, just as the Artemis astronaut crew will do as they explore the lunar surface.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Student Launch is one of NASA\u2019s seven&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stem.nasa.gov\/artemis\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Artemis Student Challenges<\/a>&nbsp;\u2013 activities that connect student ingenuity with NASA\u2019s work returning to the Moon under Artemis in preparation for human exploration of Mars.<\/p>\n<p>The competition is managed by Marshall\u2019s Office of STEM Engagement. Additional funding and support are provided by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/stem\">the<\/a>&nbsp;Office of STEM Engagement\u2019s&nbsp;Next Generation STEM project, NASA\u2019s Marshall
