{"id":22835,"date":"2024-03-27T09:36:46","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T23:36:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=22835"},"modified":"2024-03-27T09:36:46","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T23:36:46","slug":"ria-annual-conference-announced-for-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=22835","title":{"rendered":"RIA Annual Conference announced for 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.riagb.org.uk\/\">The Railway Industry Association (RIA)<\/a> is pleased to announce that the award-winning Annual Conference &amp; Dinner will take place on 6-7 November 2024, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, London.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s conference focuses on the theme \u2018A fresh start for UK rail\u2019 and will feature a large interactive exhibition area and spotlight pitches where new services and products will be showcased. The evening programme includes networking drinks, dinner and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, the conference attracts some of the most senior industry figures and this year includes:<\/p>\n<p>Andrew\u00a0Haines OBE, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.networkrail.co.uk\/\">Network Rail<\/a> CEO<br \/>\nSir John Armitt CBE FREng FICE, Chair of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nic.org.uk\/\">National Infrastructure Commission<\/a><br \/>\nSir Jon Thompson, Executive Chair of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs2.org.uk\/\">HS2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Further speakers will be confirmed in due course.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.riagb.org.uk\/\">RIA<\/a> Marketing &amp; Events Manager, Grace Smithen, said: \u201cThis year\u2019s Annual Conference and dinner will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from a top-level range of speakers and excellent networking opportunities as well as convivial evening entertainment.
