{"id":21719,"date":"2024-03-22T00:37:34","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T14:37:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=21719"},"modified":"2024-03-22T00:37:34","modified_gmt":"2024-03-21T14:37:34","slug":"hull-trains-colleagues-recognised-at-annual-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=21719","title":{"rendered":"Hull Trains colleagues recognised at annual awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Open access operator <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulltrains.co.uk\/\">Hull Trains<\/a> has recognised the key individuals making considerable contributions to its continued success at its annual colleague Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Digital Marketing Exceutive Lucy Murray was the outstanding winner of the \u2018colleagues awards\u2019, gaining recognition for the daily support she offers her team. <\/p>\n<p>Lucy Murray, said: \u201cI\u2019m so pleased and grateful to have been recognised at the Hull Trains Excellence Awards and it was a lovely evening celebrating everyone\u2019s hard work and dedication. I was really surprised to have won as there were lots of brilliant nominees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lucy has been with Hull Trains for nearly six years, beginning her career with the company as a Customer Service Administrator in 2018. She later became a Customer Service Advisor and has currently achieved the role of Digital Marketing Executive.<\/p>\n<p>Lou Mendham, Service Delivery Director at Hull Trains, said: \u201cLucy is exactly the type of person we love at Hull Trains. She is hard-working, cares about her colleagues and the business and is perfectly tuned in to our core values. We\u2019re delighted that she has secured the colleagues award and are equally excited about her continued progression within the business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Hull Trains\u2019 Excellence Awards are held annually with the awards deliberately built around the company\u2019s core values. This year\u2019s event was held at Hull Truck Theatre and saw both onboard and office-based teams come together to celebrate and highlight the excellence being consistently delivered within the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>Martijn Gilbert, Managing Director added: \u201cThe Excellence Awards is our way of saying thank you to everyone internally who makes this business what it is. People really do buy into our core values and that\u2019s reflected by the large number of long-service awards this year. In truth, we really could hand out an award to everyone who works for Hull Trains, as we\u2019re proud of the whole team. That said, congratulations to all of this year\u2019s fantastic and dedicated winners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The full list of other winners at Hull Trains\u2019 Excellence Awards is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The customer\u2019s award was won by Sammy Moxon, Onboard Manager, with Onboard Host, Sue Franklin highly commended.<\/p>\n<p>The Driver Instructor team was highly commended in the colleague\u2019s category, which was won by Lucy Murray.<\/p>\n<p>The safety category was won by Vicky Milner, Onboard Manager, with Onboard Manager, Sofia Ali highly commended.<\/p>\n<p>The community\u2019s award was won by the Three-Peaks team, with Business Travel Consultants, Ian Farrow and Jamie Branton highly commended.<\/p>\n<p>The future award was won by Kevin Cunnick, Onboard Operations Manager, with Executive Assistant, Hailey Giblin highly commended.<\/p>\n<p>The rising star award was won by Driver, Matt Rudd, with Daniel Longbottom, Onboard Host, highly commended.<\/p>\n<p>The team award was won by the Three Peaks Team, Christopher Vickers, Driver received the retirement award, and the coveted values special award was secured by Onboard Manager, Dominic Russell.<\/p>\n<p>There was also five individual ten-year long service awards and an incredible 20 long service awards for more than 20-year service to Hull Trains.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Open access operator Hull Trains has recognised the key individuals making considerable contributions to its continued success at its annual colleague Excellence Awards.
