Greater Anglia is reminding customers about its partnership with a British Sign Language interpreter service during Deaf Awareness Week.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the train operator partnered with SignLive, which provides remote British Sign Language interpreting on demand.<\/p>\n

Deaf Awareness Week runs from 5-11 May, and Greater Anglia is advising customers who are deaf or hard of hearing, that they can communicate with its customer relations teams via the service.<\/p>\n

Customers can use SignLive to discuss issues including delay repay, complaints and feedback, business travel, smart cards, operational train information, and Stansted Express web bookings.<\/p>\n

SignLive is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is free for Greater Anglia customers to use.
BSL users can use the SignLive app to connect to Greater Anglia via an Interpreter. Customers need to log in to the SignLive app on iOS, Android, or a web browser and find Greater Anglia in the Community Directory.<\/p>\n

Greater Anglia\u2019s Accessibility and Inclusion Manager, Rebecca Richardson, said: \u201cWe are committed to making rail more accessible and helping people travel with confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarlier this year, we launched launched our partnership with the online British Sign language interpreting service, SignLive, and we hope this service will be useful to customers for whom British sign language is their first language.\u201d<\/p>\n
