Czech state-owned rail freight operator \u010cD Cargo recorded a loss of almost 38 million euros (945 million CZK) in 2024. This is a big step back from the company, who had a positive result of over 29 million euros in 2023.<\/strong>
\n<\/span>In other words, the company lost 67 million euros between 2023 and 2024. Last year was also the first time that \u010cD Cargo posted negative economic results in the 2020s. \u201cThe economic result was negatively affected primarily by (…) provisions for severance pay for employees and the reduction in the value of assets that will become redundant in the coming years\u201d said Tom\u00e1\u0161 T\u00f3th, Chairman of the Board of Directors of \u010cD Cargo.<\/p>\n
