This is an 11 per cent improvement compared to 2023.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-61882\"><\/span>\u201cThis progress has been achieved despite operating in an increasingly competitive environment, in which the company&#8217;s revenues registered a slight decrease of 3.6 per cent compared to the previous year, reaching 191,7 million euros\u201d, Renfe said.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"readmore\">\n<div class=\"readmore-item\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/business\/2025\/02\/13\/renfe-mercancias-records-worst-performance-in-two-decades\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Mercancias-train-128x128.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"readmore-thumbnail\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"readmore-info\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.railfreight.com\/business\/2025\/02\/13\/renfe-mercancias-records-worst-performance-in-two-decades\/\" class=\"readmore-title\">Renfe Mercanc\u00edas records worst performance in two decades<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<h2>The rest of the Renfe group<\/h2>\n<p>In general, losses were reduced all across the group for the Spanish state-owned railway holding. \u201cSpecifically, the Renfe group has reduced its losses by 118,6 million euros during 2024 (&#8230;) compared to 121.5 million euros in 2023\u201d, the company stated. The cluster\u2019s EBIDTA grew by 59 per cent to 489.5 million euros.
