One of Melbourne\u2019s major motorways has been thrown into chaos after a serious truck crash has caused major delays for morning commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parts of the Monash Freeway have been closed and the traffic lines are banking back for kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The truck rollover happened around 6am on Friday on the major artery and all outbound lanes have been closed between Wellington and Police roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The extent of injuries are not yet known, but there are fears for the driver as the cab has smashed into itself and almost separated from the tray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drivers are being urged to find alternative routes and to allow at least an extra 20 minutes to use the detours that are in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are also significant delays in the area towards the city despite all of those lanes remaining open, with delays of up to 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drivers travelling to the city from the southeast should use the Princes Highway to avoid congestion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
