Digitalisation is a key step for the improvement of rail freight, an industry in dire need of being modernised. Making communication between all the parties involved more efficient is an important aspect of this, and RailSync wants to play a big part in both of it.<\/strong>
\n<\/span>With RailSync\u2019s solution, companies can aggregate all necessary information into one dashboard and access it in real-time. From the yearly planning of train slots to the daily operations, loading\/unloading updates, estimated times of clearance, congestion and availability of train slots at a terminal can all be found on one platform, allowing for smoother operations and planning. In other words, RailSync provides one central online platform for standardised real-time data management between all parties involved.<\/p>\n

The company achieved significant milestones over the past few months, and more developments are expected for 2025. For example, in the last quarter of last year, RailSync signed a major customer and added multiple key features to increase its product value and for the next few months, the company will add real-time train tracking features. Throughout the current year, RailSync expects to go live at up to four terminals and progressively increase the number of train slots handled.<\/p>\n

RailSync is a Hamburg-based logistics startup that digitalises train coordination for intermodal players. It improves transparency for all involved parties, including container terminals, railway undertakings, shunters, ports, authorities, and more. One of its key goals is to modernise operations and increase transparency by synchronising all stakeholders within the RailSync slot management and communications platform.<\/p>\n
