Rapido are producing a newly tooled range of GWR B-Set coaches in OO gauge, with a comprehensive range of GWR and BR liveried vehicles expected in 2024.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Engineering samples have been revealed, and Rapido have recently confirmed some finer details present on these beautiful new models:<\/div>\n

Droplights<\/strong> – Optional drop light windows posed in an open position will now be provided. Simply pop out the existing “closed” windows and slot these in instead.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Close-Couplings <\/strong>– As these vehicles ran in pairs, the inner sections had shorter buffers and were closely coupled – Rapido will provide a handy mechanism to replicate this.<\/p>\n

Lighting<\/strong> –\u00a0All vehicles will feature internal lighting with the electronics hidden behind a secret wall in the guard’s compartment! A ‘stay-alive’ capacitor is also included.<\/p>\n

Short Bogies<\/strong> –\u00a0These vehicles featured shorter bogies than most other coaches, which have been replicated here. These have been tested working down to Radius 2!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
