{"id":18468,"date":"2024-03-08T14:38:11","date_gmt":"2024-03-08T04:38:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=18468"},"modified":"2024-03-08T14:38:11","modified_gmt":"2024-03-08T04:38:11","slug":"ria-directors-win-recognition-in-influential-women-in-trade-association-powerlist-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=18468","title":{"rendered":"RIA Directors win recognition in influential Women in Trade Association Powerlist 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.riagb.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Railway Industry Association (RIA)<\/a> has announced that two of its Directors have been nominated and included in this year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taforum.org\/women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Women in Trade Association Powerlist 2024<\/a> (WiTA Powerlist).<\/p>\n<p>Gaynor Pates, Operations Director, and Rose Garber, Member Relations Director, have both been promoted to the list, released on International Women\u2019s Day (8 March 2024), and compiled from over 200 nominations by a combined panel from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taforum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trade Association Forum (TAF)<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbi.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Confederation of British Industry (CBI)<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fsb.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The list champions the achievements of women in trade associations and aims to encourage the next generation of women into the association sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the success,\u00a0Darren Caplan, Chief Executive of RIA,\u00a0said: \u201cHuge\u00a0 congratulations\u00a0to Gaynor and Rose on their achievement, being included in the Women in Trade Association Powerlist 24. Both deserve their accolades. Gaynor has not only led RIA\u2019s operations function but she has chaired the Trade Association Forum and been key to its transformation into the successful body that it is today. Rose has led RIA\u2019s Member Relations and raised the bar in terms of member satisfaction, retaining existing members and attracting new ones, and galvanising partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the third time RIA team members have been elevated to the Powerlist and we couldn\u2019t be prouder of their achievements. Well done, Gaynor and Rose!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>RIA Operations Director Gaynor Pates\u00a0said: \u201cIt is great to be included in the 2024 WiTA Powerlist.
