In the footage, the Moon appears full, an illusion caused entirely by sunlight reflecting off Earth. The brightness isn\u2019t constant, though. As sunrise progresses over the Western Hemisphere, the increasing Earthshine becomes so intense that some frames are saturated with light. <\/div>\n
