The Initial Sighting: December 26, 1980<\/h2>\n

On the early hours of December 26, security personnel at RAF Woodbridge, operated by the U.S. Air Force, noticed strange lights descending into Rendlesham Forest. Initially, it was suspected to be a downed aircraft. However, upon closer inspection, servicemen discovered a metallic, triangular craft resting on the forest floor. The object emitted bright white and multicolored lights and appeared to be covered in strange hieroglyph-like markings.<\/p>\n
