Delivering rail training since 2016, Training Ahead Australia<\/a> (TAA) has become the training provider of choice for many rail operators, rail contractors and Tier 1 contractors.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Melbourne-based organisation is expanding across Australia and implementing many initiatives, to provide solutions to the current challenges that the rail industry faces.<\/p>\n

TAA specialises in training for the rail sector, with the aim of improving safety standards throughout \u2013 which is achieved by combining industry experience with fresh and innovative training strategies.<\/p>\n

The TAA team possess a broad and varied mix of skills, backgrounds and experience \u2013 from rail professionals who have served in the industry in excess of 30 years, to those who are just starting out in their careers.<\/p>\n

TAA Chief Executive Dannielle Walz said the goal was to help individuals and businesses to be more effective and efficient, to create a safer, more streamlined workplace for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe can now roll out quality training and straightforward career guidance and advice on a national level \u2013 further supporting the rail industry,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike many industries, rail has been suffering from a skills shortage, which can have significant consequences for both individuals and companies.<\/p>\n

\u201cHistorically, entering the rail industry could be confusing for newcomers. In Victoria, TAA has become known for offering full support and clear, personalised advice for\u00a0 <\/span>how people and businesses can enter this lucrative industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile we do offer training ourselves, TAA is more commonly known for offering career guidance \u2013 not just for our own training offerings, but to help as many people as possible start off in rail with confidence, with a focus on safety.\u201d<\/p>\n

This includes during busy periods, taking up to 3,000 inbound phone calls per month in Victoria alone, from companies seeking guidance to be compliant in rail and individuals looking to enter the industry \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>or upskill.<\/span><\/p>\n

TAA has now rolled this free service out nationally, to help better educate people on understanding career pathways.<\/p>\n
