The plane was a Beechcraft King Air F90 that had taken off from Campo de Marte Airport (RTE), a popular S\u00e3o Paulo-based airport that is frequently used for executive flights. However, shortly after the aircraft took off, the pilot reported several technical failures on the aircraft. The pilot attempted to return to the airport, but the aircraft had already lost altitude. This resulted in the aircraft crash landing on a popular street in downtown S\u00e3o Paulo, Avenida Marqu\u00eas de S\u00e3o Vicente. The Beechcraft King Air crashed into multiple vehicles, including a bus full of passengers.
